The administration of medications section looks at actually administering medications. Firstly, we hear from a Pharmacist on the importance of the instructions that come with the medications, Doctor and Pharmacist. Then we look at self-administration of medications. You will then learn about overdoses, contra-indications of medications and how to report a mistake should one arise. It is also important to recognise changes in the patient and take the correct action.
In this section, we discuss with a Pharmacist things like different storage types and dispensing of medications including blister packs.
